Director’s Message
Welcome to a Brand New Start of Discovery and Development! 2019 heralds a new and exciting beginning for you and your child at Montessori Anakku. We have planned for more extraordinary interactive and fun activities to help nurture students’ academic aptitudes into strengths that would become a solid platform from which they would be able to achieve greater academic heights and accomplishments. This year’s curriculum is based on a culture spectrum that seeks to educate students about the world they live in; we hope to encourage students to explore the mechanisms of life and living that enrich and empower their world. While the core Montessori subjects of language, mathematics, sensorial, practical life and creative arts are taught, they are supported by cultural studies components of biology, history, technology, science, geography and literature. Students will learn to appreciate the world they live in through engaging discussions and tactile activities that stimulate thought, analysis and representation through self-expression. The lessons will be conveyed through topics of “Animals around Us”, “Simple Scientific Experiments”, “Fantastic World of Dinosaurs”, “Our Planet Earth, the Sun and the Moon”, “Everyday Transportation”, and “Poetry and Nursery Rhymes”. Their education will also be enriched by daily music sessions and weekly-guided gymnastics. Thank you for your continued support and belief in Montessori Anakku. Warm Regards, Nona Azlan Director |
